The first High Court Criminal Session has started at Kyenjojo Chief Magistrate's Court.

The session which is being handled by the Fort Portal Resident Judge, Hon. Justice Vincent Wagona, is going to handle 40 cases.

The cause list signed by Fort Portal Deputy Registrar, HW Matenga Francis Dawa, indicates that Murder cases will dominate the session with 20 files. This is followed by Aggravated Defilement with 15 cases while Rape has two. The other case category to be handled is Aggravated Robbery with three cases.

HW Matenga said the Session will run for one month.
